2 tindahan sa Agora Market huli sa MMDA, DTI at San Juan LGU sa hindi pagsunod sa SRP

MMDA PHOTONaisyuhan ng notice of violations ang dalawang tindahan sa Agora Market sa San Juan City dahil sa hindi pagsunod sa suggested retail price (SRP).Ginawa ito kasunod ng inspeksyon ng Metropolitan Manila Development Authority, Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) at lokal na pamahalaan ng lungsod ng San Juan City.
Siniyasat ang pagsunod ng mga tindahan sa nag-iisang pampublikong pamilihan sa lungsod sa SRP ng mga pangunahing bilihin.
Pinanagunahan nina MMDA acting chairman Atty. Don Artes, MMDA General Manager Procopio Lipana, San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora at DTI Assistant Secretary for Consumer Protection Group Ann Claire Cabochan.
Sinuri din nila ang timbangan ng mga nagtitinda sa pamilihan.
Tiniyak ni Artes ang pakikipagtulungan ng lahat ng mga alkalde sa Kalakhang Maynila para matiyak ang pagsunod sa SRP bilang proteksyon sa mga konsyumer.
“We will coordinate with the Metro Manila Council to conduct monitoring of prices in various wet markets in the metropolis,” ani Artes.
