Rescue operation sa Turkiye, itinigil na

Dalawang linggo makalipas ang mapaminsalang magnitude 7.8 earthquake, inanunsiyo ng gobyerno ng Turkiye na itinigil na ang rescue operations.

Tanging sa mga lalawigan na lamang ng Hatay at Kahramanmaras magpapatuloy ang paghahanap ng mga posibleng survivors.

Ginawa ang anunsiyo kasabay ng pagbisita ni US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

Ayon kay Yunus Sezer, ang namumuno sa Disaster ang Emergency Management Agency ng Turkiye, natapos na ang search and rescue operations sa iba pang mga lalawigan.

Aniya may 40 gusali sa dalawang nabanggit na lalawigan ang tinututukan ng search and rescue teams.

Samantala, inanunsiyo ni Blinken na magbibigay ang US ng $100 milliion humanitarian aid sa Turkiye.
