Kahinahinalang 10 foreign vessels iniimbestigahan ng Marina
Iniimbestigahan na ng Maritime Industry Authority (Marina) ang kahinahinalang presensiya ng 10 banyagang sasakyang-pandagat sa teritoryo ng Pilipinas.
Nag-ugat ang imbestigasyon sa pagsita ng National Coast Watch Center (NCWC), an inter-agency maritime surveillance and coordinated response facility, sa operasyon ng mga naturang barko.
Pinamumunuan ng Philippine Coast Guard ng NCWC at ito ay nasa ilalim ng Office of the President sa pamamagitan ng Office of the Executive Secretary.
Sa ulat ng Marina, ang 10 barko, karamihan mga Chinese. ay pinaniniwalaan na sangkot sa mga kahina-hinalang aktibidad at nasa labas ng inaprubahang lugar ng kanilang operasyon base sa special permit na ibinigay ng ahensiya.
Nabatid na nagsagawa ng dredging and reclamation activities’ ang mga barko sa Pasay Reclamation Development Project.
Napaulat na nagsagawa din ang mga ito ng operasyon sa ilang lugar sa Nasugbu, Batangas, at Ambil Island sa Occidental Mindoro.
