Nagpasaklolo kay Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla si dating Lipa City Mayor Meynard Sabili.
Ito ay para idulog ni Sabili ang mahigit 100 residente ng Lipa na nabiktima ng pangloloko.
Ayon kay Sabili, isang Engineer Ronald Rivera na nagpakilalang representative ng Rivercom Construction Development Incorporated ang nanghikayat sa mga residente na mamuhunan kapalit ng 25 porsyentong tubo.
Ilalagak daw kasi ang pera sa kanyang kompanya na may operasyon sa sand and gravel at quarrying.
Bilyong piso aniya ang nakuha ni Rivera sa mga biktima.
Ayon kay Sabili, inatasan na ni Remulla ang National bureau of Investigation Anti-Fraud Division na imbestigahan ang insidente.
Kasong syndicated estafa ang isasampa ng mga biktima laban kay Rivera.
Nanawagan naman si Sabili sa iba pang mga biktima ni Rivera na lumantad na para sama-samang habulin ito.
