600 kilo ng imported longganisa ipinuslit sa Surigao, huli sa PPA
Nasabat ng mga ahente ng Port Management Office of Surigao ang may 600 kilo ng smuggled chorizo.
Sa pahayag ng Philippine Ports Authority (PPA), nadiskubre ng PMO – Surigao Port police ang truck at gumamit ng K-9 dogs.
Kasama sa operasyon ang ilang ahente ng Bureau of Animak Industry (BAI) nang kumpiskahin ang P100,000 halaga ng chorizo.
Bunga ito ng isang linggo na surveillance operations ng dalawang ahensiya base sa mga impormasyon na may mga nagpupuslit ng imported meat products sa ibat-ibang lugar sa Northern Mindanao.
Ipinadala na sa Cebu City ang mga chorizo para sa ligtas na kustodiya para na rin maiwasan ang anumang sakit na hayop sa Surigao.
