Bagong kaso ng ‘human trafficking’ sa NAIA ibinuking ni Poe

Ibinunyag ni Senator Grace Poe ang panibagong insidente ng ‘human trafficking’ sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).

Sa kanyang privilege speech, sinabi ni Poe na nabigo ang mga awtoridad sa NAIA na mapigilan ang paglipad ng isang private jet na patungo sa Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Sampung banyaga, ayon kay Poe, ang sakay ng private jet at  pito lamang sa pasahero ang humarap sa immigration personnel.

Ayon pa kay Poe, may katulad na insidente noong nakaraang Disyembre, na kinasasangkutan naman ng Chinese nationals.

“More than just a protocol glitch, the issue digs deeper as it involves national security and human trafficking. Let us not allow private flights in our airports as a highway for human trafficking,” sabi ni Poe.

Agad naman hiniling ni Sen. Ronald dela Rosa na ang pinamumunuan niyang Committee on Public Order and Dangerous Drugs ang mag-imbestiga sa ibinunyag ni Poe.

Sinegundahan naman siya ni Sen. Jinggoy Estrada, samantalang nagpahayag din ng kanyang labis na pagkadismaya si Majority Leader Joel Villanueva sa pangyayari.

“We’re not only talking about national security here or human trafficking but also accountability. This is also an issue of graft and corruption,” ani Villanueva.
