Pilipinas inakusahan ng trespassing ng China sa Ayungin Shoal

Iginiit ng China na pinasok ng Pilipinas ang kanilang teritoryo nang maglayag sa Ayungin Shoal ang isang barko ng Philippine Coast Guard (PCG).   Ayon sa pahayag ng Chinese Foreign Ministry, ang Ayungin Shoal ay bahagi ng kanilang Nansha Islands.   Ginawa ng China ang pahayag matapos iulat ng Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) na ginamitan ng military-grade laser light ng Chinese Coast Guard (CCG) ang isa nilang barko na tumutulong sa resupllying mission ng Philippine Navy sa BRP Sierra Madre. Sinabi ni Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin, hindi nagpaalam ang PCG na papasok sa teritoryo ng China.

“On February 6, a Philippine Coast Guard vessel intruded into the waters off the Ren’ai Reef without Chinese permission. In accordance with China’s domestic law and international law,” ani Wang.

Sa naunang pahayag ng PCG, bukod sa paggamit ng laser light, nagsagawa din ang CCG ng ‘dangerous manuevers’ at inalis na ang takip ng isa sa armas ng kanilang barko.
