Pilipinas kinampihan ng Amerika sa laser dispute sa China
Kinampihan ng Amerika ang Pilipinas matapos ang panunutok ng laser ng Chinese Coast Guard sa mga tauhan ng Philippine Coast Guard sa South China Sea.
Base ito sa pahayag ni US State Department spokesperson Ned Price.
“The United States stands with our Philippine allies in the face of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) Coast Guard’s reported use of laser devices against the crew of a Philippine Coast Guard ship on February 6 in the South China Sea,” saad ng statement.
Una nang sinabi ng PCG na tinutukan ng laser ang kanilang hanay ng Chinese Coast Guard noong Pebrero 6 malapit sa Ayungin Shoal o ang tinatawag ng China na Renái Reef.
Sabin g PCG, isang military grade lased light ang ginamit ng China sa BRP Malapascua habang nagsasagawa ng military rotation at resupply mission sa Ayungin Shoal.
