Tatlong foreign investors target mamuhunan sa Maharlika Investment Fund
Tatlong investment commitments para Mharlika Investment Fund ang nakuha ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. mula sa limang araw na working visit sa Japan.
Sa panayam ng Philippine Media Delegation kay Pangulong Marcos habang pauwi sa Pilipinas mula sa Japan, sinabi nito na galing sa Japanese government-run at private financial institutions ang nagka-interes na maglagak ng puhunan sa MIF.
Gayunman, tumanggi na muna si Pangulong Marcos na tukuyin ang tatlong foreign investors.
“Some of the private corporations, we mentioned it. We have some commitments but I don’t think it’s appropriate for me to name who they are. But they have – there were already three commitments, substantial amount that they are willing to invest in the fund. So we can begin there,” pahayag ng Pangulo.
Una nang sinabi ni Speaker Martin Romualdez na isang mataas na opisyal na Japanese financial executive ang nagbabalak na maglagak ng bilyong dolyar na puhunan para sa MIF.
Ilalagay aniya ang pondo sa energy project.
Sinabi pa ni Romualdez na ang naturang opisyal ang tumulong rin sa pagtatatag sa sovereign wealth fund ng Indonesia.
