$13 bilyong investment deals nakuha ni Pangulong Marcos sa Japan trip

Nasa $13 bilyong investment deals ang naiuwi ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. mula sa limang araw na working visit sa Japan. Ayon sa Pangulo, nasa 24,000na trabaho ang inaasahang malilikha sa mga nakuhang investments. “Coming back, we carry with us over $13 billion or Php708.2B in contribution and pledges to benefit our people, or create approximately 24,000 jobs and further solidify the foundations of our economic environment,” pahayag ni Pangulong Marcos. Kabilang sa mga nakuhang investments ng Pangulo ang North South Commuter Railway para sa Malolos-Tutuban at North South Commuter Railway Project Extension na nagkakahalaga ng JPY 377 billion o USD 3 billion. Sabi ng Pangulo, kapag natapos ang proyekto at ang mga ongoing large-scale Official Development Assistance (ODA) projects gaya ng Metro Manila Subway Project at iba pa ay tiyak na makalilikha ng maraming trabaho. Inilarawan din ng Pangulo ang makasaysayang bilateral meeting kay Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida kung saan naisulong ang common aspirations para sa kani-kanilang mga kababayan. “We committed to further strengthen the strategic partnership between the Philippines and Japan and mapped out a transformative, future-oriented partnership that is responsive to new developments,” pahayag ng Pangulo. Naselyuhan din ng Japan at Pilipinas ang  defense and security relations, agriculture at information and communications technology (ICT) cooperation kung saan nalagdaan ang  bilateral agreements na magtatatag ng framework para sa  enhanced mutually-beneficial collaborations. Nagkaroon din ng Imperial audience sina Pangulong Marcos at First Lady Liza Marcos kina  Emperor Naruhito at Empress Masako. Dumating ang Pangulo sa bansa sakay ng PR 001 sa Villamor Airbase sa Pasay City ng 7:00 ng gabi.
