2 Filipinos namatay sa Turkiye quake, PBBM nalungkot
Labis na ikinalungkot ni Pangulong Marcos Jr. ang pagkamatay ng dalawang Filipina sa magnitude 7.8 magnitude earthquake sa Turkiye at Syria.
“It is with deep regret that we learn of the passing of two Filipinos in the recent 7.8-magnitude earthquake that devastated Türkiye,” pahayag ng Pangulo.
Sinabi ito ng Punong Ehekutibo matapos kumpirmahin ng embahada ng Pilipinas na dalawang Filipino ang nasawi.
Kinilala ang isa sa dalawang nasawi na si Wilma Teczon.
Sabi ng Pangulo, patuloy na nakikipagtulungan ang embahada ng Pilipinas para maberipika ang pagkakakilanlan ng mga biktima.
“The Philippine Embassy continues to work tirelessly to verify any and all information on Filipinos affected by the quake,” aniya.
