Pangulong Marcos nakipagpulong sa Japanese company

Tokyo, Japan—Trabaho agad ang inatupag ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. sa pagdating sa Japan para sa limang araw na working visit.

Sa dinner meeting ng Pangulo at ng Philippine delegation at executives ng Mitsui and Company at Metro Pacific Investments Corporation sa Tokyo, sinabi nito na nais niyang paigtingin ang kolaborasyon ng mga kompanya ng dalawang bansa.

Sabi ng Pangulo, magsisilbi kasi itong driving force para mapalakas ang ekonomiya ng bansa.

Nabatid na ang Mitsui and Company ay isang Japanese company na nagsasagawa ng operasyon sa product sales, logistics at financing, infrastructure projects, iron and steel products, information technology at communications at iba pa.

May operasyon ito sa 128 na opisina sa 63 na bansa, kasama na ang Pilipinas.

Samantala, ang MPIC ay Philippine-based investment management at infrastructure holding company at may strategic partnership para sa pagpapaigting sa operational efficiency, costumer coverage at iba pa.

Kasama sa dinner sina First Lady Louise Araneta-Marcos, dating Pangulo at ngayon ay House Deputy Speaker Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, Senate President Juan Miguel Zubiri, House Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez, Mitsui and Company Chief Executive Officer Kenichi Hori, MPIC Chairman Manuel Pangilinan at iba pang Cabinet members.
