Isang tanggapan sa Immigration Bureau pinabubuwag ni Justice Sec. Crispin Remulla

Ipinag-utos ni Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla ang pagbuwag sa Port Operations Division ng Bureau of Immigration (BI).
Ayon kay Remulla ang naturang tanggapan ay bahagi ng depektibong sistema sa kawanihan.
“Reforms are underway in the Bureau of Immigration. I’m about to sign an order that will deactivate one office which we believe is part of the defect in the immigration system right now,” ani Remulla.
Aniya mawawala ang ‘centralization’ ng port operations at ang mangyayari ay magiging responsable na sa lahat ang bawat namumuno sa operasyon ng kawanihan sa mga paliparan sa bansa.
Pag-amin ng kalihim, ang hakbang ay may kaugnayan sa mga iskandalo at kontrobersiya na kinasangkutan ng kawanihan.
