Courtesy resignations ng PNP officials kikilatisin na sa Lunes
Si retired Court of Appeals Associate Justice Melchor Sadang ang ika-limang miyembro ng PNP Advisory Group na bubusisi sa mga third-level officers na nagsumite ng kanilang ‘courtesy resignation.’
Kinilala si Sadang ni Interior Sec. Benhur Abalos at aniya sa Lunes ay sisimulan na ng grupo na suriin ang mga nagsumite ng ‘courtesy resignation.’
Ang iba pang miyembro ng grupo ay sina Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong, PNP Chief Rodolfo Azurin Jr., dating Defense Sec. Gilberto Teodoro, at retired Gen. Isagani Nerez.
Nabatid na unang hiniling ni Sadang na huwag muna siyang kilalanin. Nagsilbi din siyang judge sa isang regional trial court sa Cavite City at nagturo ng abogasiya sa University of the East.
Ang grupo ang magrerekomenda kung sino sa higit 900 police generals at colonels ang tatanggapin ang resignasyon bilang bahagi ng paglilinis sa hanay ng pambansang-pulisya.
