Ito ay base na rin sa utos ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
Base sa SRP, nasa P125 lamang ang presyo ng imported na medium at big-sized na red onion.
“[I]n order not to aggravate the current difficulties of the Filipino people affected by the pandemic and rising fuel prices, there is a need to guide the consuming public on the reasonable prices of basic necessities in the market,” saad ng DA Administrative Circular No. 5 na may petsang February 6, 2023.
Magiging epektibo ang bagong SRP matapos ang publication at mananatili sa loob ng 60 araw maliban na lamang kung i-revoke o bawiin ng Pangulo.
Una nang umabot sa P600 ang kada kilo ng sibuyas sa bansa.
