Ibinahagi ng Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) na higit 50 milyong national IDs, kabilang ang electronic version, ang naimprenta na.
Hanggang noong Pebrero 2, ayon sa PSA, kabuuang 30,558,332 ang PhilIDs, samantalang 19,703, 727 ang e-PhilIDs ang naimprenta na.
Sa bilang, higit 23.25 milyon na ang naipadala sa mga nagparehistro.
“The PSA, together with its field offices and partner agencies, implemented strategies to provide more Filipinos with the national ID to enable immediate utilization of PhilSys benefits,” ani National Statistician Dennis Mapa.
Aniya may mga gumagamit na ng PhilID at e-PhilId bilang patunay ng kanilang pagkakakilanlan sa pagkuha ng pera, bank transactions, pag-appy sa trabaho, maging sa pagtanggap ng social at welfare benefits.
Patuloy naman ang pakikipag-ugnayan ng PSA sa Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas para mapabilis pa ang paggawa ng national ID.
