Pagbaba sa retirement age sa 56 ng gov’t workers sinuportahan ni Revilla

Nagpahayag ng kanyang suporta si Senator Ramon Revilla Jr., sa paglusot sa Kamara ng panukala na maibaba sa 56 mula 60 ang optional retirement age ng mga nagta-trabaho sa gobyerno.

Kasabay nito, hiniling ni Revilla sa mga kapwa senador na agad ipasa ang katulad na panukalang-batas sa Senado.

“As the Chairperson of the Senate Committee on Civil Service, Government Reorganization and Professional Regulation, I have always been steadfast in my commitment to not only protect the rights of our hardworking and diligent civil servants, but ensure that their welfare are always upheld and promoted,” sabi nito.

Aniya sinusuportahan niya ang lahat ng mga hakbangin na magbibigay proteksyon sa mga kawani ng gobyerno kasama na ang mga benepisyo.

Sa Senado may katulad na panukala sina  Senate Majority Leader Joel Villanueva at Sen. Sherwin Gatchalian, ang Senate Bill Nos. 935, and 944.

May panukala naman si Sen. Sonny Angara, ang Senate Bill No. 908, na layon maibaba sa 55 ang optional retirement age ng public school teachers.
