Inanunsiyo ng Department of Justice (DOJ) na padating sa bansa ang isang United Nations (UN) Special Rapporteur on extra-judicial killings (EJKs).
Nabatid na si Dr. Morris Tidball-Binz ay bibisita sa bansa ngayon araw hanggang Pebrero 9.
Itinuturing na ekesperto sa Tidball-Binz sa forensic science, human rights at humanitarian action.
Naging miyembro siya ng International Committee of the Red Cross mula 2004 hanggang 2020 at kabing siya sa nagtatag sa ICRc Forensic Unit.
Itinalaga naman siya bilang UN Special Rapporteur noong Abril 2021.
Nilinaw naman ni Justice Secretary Jesus Remulla na bibisita sa bansa para tumulong sa mga kahihinalang kamatayan bilang forensic pathologist at hindi bilang UN Special Rapporteur.
