Libreng PRC, CSC entrance examinations inihirit ni Sen. Joel Villanueva
Nais ni Senate Majority Leader Joel Villanueva na gawing libre na para sa mga ‘underprivileged’ ang examination fees ng Professional Regulations Commission (PRC) at Civil Service Commission (CSC).
Paliwanag ni Villanueva sa inihain niyang Senate Bill No. 1323 o ang Free Professional Examinations Act” na makahikayat ang maraming naghihirap na Filipino na kumuha ng professional licensure examinations.
Ibinahagi pa niya ang pagpasa ng katutubong Aeta na si Dexter Valenton sa Criminology Board Exam.
“Dexter is not only an inspiration to the Aeta community but to every Filipino to never stop dreaming and achieving their goals,” sabi ni Villanueva.
Sa pagdetermina ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), ang isang mahirap ngunit kuwalipikado ay dapat ilibre sa bayarin sa pagkuha ng board exams.
Nakakalungkot, ayon kay Villanueva, na maraming graduates ang hindi magamit ang pinag-aralan at tinapos na kurso dahil lamang hindi nila kayang bayaran ang examination fees.
Tiwala ang senador na ang kanyang panukala ay magiging daan pa mapababa pa ang unemployment rate sa bansa.
