6 milyong housing units, kayang abutin ni Pangulong Marcos ayon kay Speaker Romualdez
Kumpiyansa si Speaker Martin Romualdez na kayang abutin ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ang target na makapagpatayo ng anim na milyong unit ng pabahay sa pagtatapos ng termino sa 2028.
Pahayag ito ni Romualdez sa groundbreaking ceremony ng Legacy Housing Project sa Batasan Hills, Quezon City.
“Our target: one million housing units every year. This is an ambitious target, but I am very confident we can achieve this through our unity in purpose and the cooperation of all stakeholders in the program,” pahayag ni Romualdez.
Ayon kay Romualdez, naiintindihan ng Pangulo ang hirap ng mga Filipino na magkaroon ng sariling bahay.
Ang proyektong pabahay ng Pangulo ay tinatawag ng local officials na “Bagong Bliss para sa Mamamayan ng Quezon City” project.
Kahalintulad ito ng Bagong Lipunan Improvement of Sites and Services o BLISS holistic housing program ng ina ni Pangulong Marcos na si dating First Lady Imelda Romualdez Marcos.
“President Marcos is addressing the country’s woes on all fronts almost simultaneously: food security, foreign investments, jobs and livelihood, public order and safety, health and social protection, and now social services like housing,” pahayag ni Romualdez.
Pangako ni Rmualdez, gagawin ang lahat ng paraan para masuportahan lamang ang programa ng Pangulo.
“Will do everything to support our President in all of his programs because we also believe that if we work as one, we can achieve even the greatest of ambitions,” pahayag ni Romualdez.
“This is how we move forward, this is how we move mountains,” dagdag ni Speaker.
