Naniniwala ang World Health Organization (WHO) na nanatiling public health emergency of international concern (PHEIC) ang COVID-19.

“Health systems are currently struggling with COVID-19 and caring for patients with influenza and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), health workforce shortages, and fatigued health workers,” diin ni WHO Director General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus sa kanyang ulat.
