Malakanyang sa publiko: Mag-ingat sa pekeng appointments
Pinag-iingat ng Palasyo ng Malakanyang sa ilang indibidwal na nag-aalok ng posisyon sa gobyerno.
Ayon kay Presidential Communications Office Secretary Cheloy Garafil, walong umanoý presidential appointee ang nabiktima at nagtungo sa Malakanyang para oath taking kahapon, Biyernes.
Isang Undersecretary Eduardo Diokno at Assistant Secretary Johnson See na nakatalaga umano sa Office of the Executive Secretary ang nangbibiktima.
Nanghihingi ang dalawa ng malaking halaga ng pera kapalit ng kanilang appointment sa administrasyon ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
Inatasan pa ng dalawa ang walong umanoý appointee na magtungo sa Palasyo para manumpa sa harap ni Pangulong Marcos.
“The Office of the President cordially invites you to attend the oath taking ceremony to be presided by His Excellency President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. at the Rizal Hall, Malacañang Palace, two o’clock in the afternoon, Monday, 5th of December 2022,” saad ng liham na ipinadala sa mga biktima.
Sinabi naman ni Senior Deputy Executive Secretary Hubert Guevara na walang naka-schedule na oath taking ng mga appointee kahapon.
Kabilang sa mga puwestong inalok sa mga biktima ay ang pagiging ambassador ng The Netherlands, Department of Transportation assistant secretary, Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA) board member, Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC) president at chief executive officer (CEO), Early Childhood Care and Development Council executive director and vice chairperson, Clark Development Corp. (CDC) director at Port of Batangas manager.
Nagsasagawa na ng imbestigasyon ngayon ang National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).
