Security chief ni dating Pangulong Duterte iniimbestigahan sa ‘Davao model slay case’
Napabilang si Army Brigadier General Jesus Durante III na ‘person of interest’ sa pagpatay sa isang businesswoman-model sa Davao City.
Bunga nito, tinanggal siya ni Army chief, Lt. Gen. Romeo Brawner bilang commander ng 1001st Infantry Brigade.
“The Philippine Army will not condone any criminal act committed by its personnel,” ani Brawner.
Pinalitan si Durante III ni Col. Febie Lamerez at si Col. Gerry Besana ang deputy brigade commander.
Ayon sa pulisya maaring ‘crime of passion’ ang pagpatay kay Yvonette Chua Plaza noong Dsiyembre 29 ng dalawang ‘riding in tandem killers’ sa Tugbok District sa Davao City.
Ilan sa mga tauhan ni Durante III ang isinasangkot din sa krimen at diumano hawak na sila ng pulisya.
Pinamunuan ni Durante III ang Presidential Security Group (PSG) sa termino ni dating Pangulong Duterte.
Una na rin niyang itinanggi na may kaugnayan siya kay Plaza at may kinalaman siya sa pagpatay sa modelo.
