Dating NPA rebels binigyan ng sariling bahay ng NHA
Aabot sa 48 housing units ang ibinigay ng National Houusing Authority (NHA) sa mga dating miyembro ng rebeldeng gruopo sa San Mariano, Isabela.
Ayon kay NHA General Manager Joeben Tai ang housing units ay nasa Sitio Casisiitan, Brgy. Minanga,
Nabatid na ang bawat housing unit ay mayroong floor area na 28.4 square meters at lot area na 70 square meters.
Isinagawa ang turnover ceremony bilang bahagi ng Peace-Building Program ng NHA.
Sa ilalim ng naturang programa, bibigyan ng pabahay ang mga dating rebelde na nagbabalik loob sa gobyerno para sa kanilang pagbabagong buhay.
Binibigyan din nito ng motibasyon ang mga miyembro ng Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP), New People’s Army (NPA), National Democratic Front (NDF), at iba pang extremists na magbalik loob sa pamahalaan.
“The NHA will continue to collaborate with various government agencies and above all, with local government units, so that we can continue to deliver our mandate to the Filipino people Let’s all keep in mind that the NHA is an instrument that guides Filipino families to fulfill their dreams of having a new house and a new life,” dagdag ni Tai.
