PCOO photoUpang hindi masayang, binabalak ng Department of National Defense (DND) at Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) na i-recycle na lamang ang mga bala.Sinabi ni Defense Sec. Carlito Galvez Jr., na ang ‘recycled ammunitions’ ay gagamitin naman sa pagsasanay ng mga sundalo.Sa ganitong paraan mapapakinabangan pa ang mga bala sabi pa ng kalihim.Inamin nito na isyu sa tatlong service branches ng AFP ang pagkasayang ng mga bala dahil sa hindi pagkagamit.Pag-amin ni Galvez nakakapanghinayang na may mga bala na nasasayang gayung kapos sa pondo ang gobyerno dahil sa pagtugon sa pandemya.“We would like to encourage our defense department together with the AFP that we should optimize our resources, both our logistics and financial,” sabi pa nito.
