DMW kinondena pagpatay, pagsunog sa isang OFW sa Kuwait
Kalunos-lunos ang naging kamatayan ng isang overseas Filipino worker (OFW) sa Kuwait at mariin kinondena ito ng Department of Migrant Workers (DMW).
Nabatid na sinunog ang katawan ng 35-anyos na si Jullebee Ranara nang matagpuan sa disyerto kagabi.
Nagta-trabaho sa Kuwait si Ranara bilang household service worker.
Naaresto na ang 17-anyos na anak ng amo ni Ranara, base sa impormasyon na ipinarating ng awtoridad ng Kuwait sa DMW.
Natuklasan din na buntis ang biktima.
“Secretary Ople and the entire department condemns this heinous crime and urges the Kuwaiti government to work on the early resolution of the case and its perpetrators brought to justice,” ayon sa pahayag ng kagawaran.
Nangako din si Ople ng tulong sa pamilya ng naturang OFW.
