11 3rd level police officials wala pang ‘courtesy resignation’
Labing-isang matataas na opisyal na lamang ng pambansang pulisya ang hindi pa tumatalima sa apila ni Interior Secretary benhur Abalos na ‘courtesy resignation.’
Ito ang ibinahagi ni PNP Chief Rodolfo Azurin Jr., at aniya ang 11 ay binubuo ng walong colonels at tatlong brigadier generals.
Aniya may natitirang pang isang linggo upang magsumite ang 11 ng kanilang ‘courtesy resignation.’
“Siguro they are still trying to discern na ‘magsasubmit pa ba ako eh aabutan naman ako ng retirement’ but to us we also still encourage them na magsubmit lang kayo so that at least kahit papaano ay totally maki-clear kayo kung ano man yung kahinatnan nitong evaluation and review ng individual na involvement ng lahat sa illegal drugs, ” ani Azurin.
Sabi pa nito, hanggang noong Biyernes, may 924 sa 953 third level officers na ang nagsumite ng kanilang courtesy resignation, base sa ulat ng Directorate for Personel and Records Management.
“Definitely, the PNP will look into this. If they did not submit, we don’t have any record. The PNP will study if there are indicators of them being involved in illegal drugs during their incumbency as third level officers and (even) after reaching retirement,” sabi pa ng hepe ng pambansang pulisya.
