Barko sa Manila Bay na may Chinese crew pina-iimbestigahan ng DOTr
Pinabeberipika ng Department of Transportation (DOTr) sa Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA) ang ulat na may barko na umiikot sa Manila Bay na may mga truipulanteng Chinese citizens.
Sinulatan na noong Enero 18 ni Usec. Elmer Sarmiento si MARINA Administrator Hernani Fabia para alamin kung may Chinese crew ang Spectrum Marine and Ship Management Inc.
Nabatid na ang naturang ahensiya ay rehistrado upang mag-recruit ng seafarers para sa mga barko na may pandaigdigang ruta.
Nakatakdang makipagpulong ang DOTr, sa pamamagitan ng Office of Transportation Security (OTS), kay Fabia at sa iba pang opisyal ng MARINA.
Pinatityak na nasusunod ang mga itinakda sa International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code gayundin sa mga alintuntunin ng OTS.
