3 immigration officers iniimbestigahan sa human trafficking

Sinimulan na ng Bureau of Immigration (BI) ang pag-iimbestiga sa tatlo nilang tauhan dahil sa sinasabing pagkakasangkot sa human trafficking modus.

Ibinahagi ni Immigration spokesperson Dana Sandoval, dalawa sa iniimbestigahan ay nakatalaga sa  Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) at ang isa naman ay sa  Clark International Airport (CIA).

Nabatid na ang tatlo ay pawang nasa frontline position ngunit ibinalik na sila sa opisina para hindi maka-impluwensiya sa isinasagawang imbestigasyon.

“Our investigation will not stop at the three officers, we are looking at how many could be involved internally and externally,”  ani Sandoval.

Ibinahagi pa nito na magsasagawa din sila ng “internal cleansing and restructuring.”

Hinala ng kawanihan kasabwat ang tatlo ng sindikato na ilegal na nagpapadala ng mga Filipino sa Myanmar at Cambodia.
