Nakausap na ni Trade Sec. Fred Pascual, ang senior executives ng mga kompanyang Coursera, Chevron, Astranis, at She Loves Tech na may interes na mamuhunan sa Pilipinas.
Nakipagpulong din si Pascual sa WEF’s Executive Committee member at Head ng International Trade and Investment para talakayin ang posibleng partnership sa Pilipinas at iprinisinta sa mga business executives ang Pilipinas bilang isang ideal investment destination sa Asya.
Tiniyak ni Pascual na mas maganda ang business climate sa bansa dahil sa mga ipinatupad na reporma ng administrasyon.
Ayon pa sa kalihim magandang oportunidad ang WEF para mahikayat ang mga dayuhang mamumuhunan na maglagak ng negosyo sa bansa.
“We have met with several business executives and presented our country as an ideal investment destination in Asia. Similarly, we shared with them our improved business climate, which was fueled by the recent economic policy reforms that facilitate ease of doing business. We see WEF as an opportunity to gather more FDIs that will complement our country’s economic recovery initiatives”, aniya.
