Pagdalo ni PBBM sa WEF, magandang hakbang – business tycoons
Davos, Switzerland—Nagtagumpay si Pangulong Marcos Jr. sa pagpapakitang gilas sa magandang lagay ng Pilipinas sa World Economic Forum (WEF) na ginaganap dito.
Ayon kay Kevin Tan, chief executive officer ng Alliance Global, isang malakas na senyales ang pagdalo ng Pangulo sa WEF na bukas ang Pilipinas sa pagnenegosyo.
Isang magandang halimbawa rin aniya ang Pilipinas sa buong mundo kung growth story ang pag-uusapan.
“I believe President Marcos has been very effective in showcasing the Philippines… our strength. But also showcasing that this government is open for business and open to partnerships with other governments, but as well as with partnerships with [the] private sector and that we are here trying to bring in really foreign investments,” pahayag ni Tan.
“On a political front, I think also my view is that the President has really shown that the Philippines really is a friend to all, and we’re not necessarily leaning more towards the West or the East, that we’re very, very balanced in where we are positioned. And I think that’s the right strategy because you know our location as a country is so strategic,” dagdag ni Tan.
Si Tan ay kasama sa pitong malalaking negosyante na bahagi ng delegasyon ni Pangulong Marcos sa Davos.
Ang Alliance Global ay isang Filipino company na may global operations sa United Kingdom, Spain at Mexico.
Sinabi pa ni Tan na nasa tamang landas ang Pangulo sa pagbibigay prayoridad sa global cooperation para tuluyang makabangon ang bansa sa pandemya sa COVID-19.
“And our President is a firm believer in globalization, coming through the World Economic Forum, I think that his belief can be made known to a large audience and that I think will give the Philippines a lot of credibility in the global community,” pahayag ni Tan.
Samantala, sinabi naman ni Sabin Aboitiz, presidente at CEO ng Aboitiz Group at lead convenor ng Private Sector Advisory Council, na malaki ang kailangan na pondo ng PIlipinas para makapagpatayo ng mga kinakailangan na imprastraktura, gaya halimbaw ang kalsada pantalan at airports.
Kailangan din aniyang makuha ang expertise ng ibang bansa para sa agrikultura.
Target aniya ng pribadong sektor na makipag-partner sa pinakamahuhusay sa buong mundo para masolusyunan ang mga problema sa bansa.
