Davos, Swtizerland—Pitong malalaking negosyante sa Pilipinas ang kasama ni Pangulong Marcos Jr. sa 2023 Annual Meeting ng World Economic Forum dito.
Kasama sa official delegation ng Pangulo sina Sabin Aboitiz (Aboitiz); Kevin Andrew Tan (Alliance Global); at Jaime Zobel de Ayala (Ayala Group).
Nasa Davos din ang mga negosyanteng sina Lance Gokongwei (JG Summit Holdings); Ramon Ang (San Miguel Corp.); Teresita Sy-Coson (SM Investments); at Enrique Razon (International Container Terminal).
Bukod sa mga nabanggit na negosyante, kasama sa delegasyon ng Pangulo ang ilang matataas na opisyal ng pamahalaan at mga miyembro ng economic team.
Dumating sa Davos ang Pangulo at ang kanyang opisyal na delegasyon noong Enero 15 at tatagal hanggang Enero 20.
Ang World Economic Forum ay nagtalaga ng Country Strategy Dialogue para sa Pilipinas kung saan pagkakataon ito ng bansa na para maitaguyod ang pagiging lider at driver ng pag-unlad sa Asia-Pacific region.
“One that is open for business – ever ready to complement regional and global expansion plans of both foreign and Philippine-based enterprises anchored on the competent and well-educated Filipino workers, the managers and professionals,” pahayag ng Pangulo.
