Itinalaga ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. si dating Interior Secretary Eduardo Año bilang bagong National Security Adviser.
Pinalitan ni Año si Professor Clarita Carlos na nagpasyang ipagpatuloy ang kanyang scholastics endeavours.
Nanumpa na si Año sa harap ni Pangulong Marcos ngayong araw sa Palasyo ng Malakanyang.
Nabatid na bahagi na ngayon si Carlos ng Congressional Policy and Budget Research Department of House of Representatives.
Ang CPBRD ang nagbibigay ng technical service sa House of Representatives para sa pagbalangkas ng national economic, fiscal at social policies.
“I have realized that it is no longer politic to continue as NSA to the President and so, I have decided to migrate to another agency where mu expertise on foreign policy will be of use and I shall continue to help build a better Philippines,” pahayag ni Carlos.
Nagsilbi ng kalihim ng DILG si Año sa administrasyon ni dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.
