P14 bilyong pondo para sa pensyon ng AFP retirees aprubado na ng DBM
Inilabas na ng Department of Budget and Management ang P14 bilyong pondo para sa pensyon ng mga military retirees.
Ayon kay Budget Secretary Amenah Pangandaman, inaprubahan na ng kanilang hanay ang Special Allotment Release Order ang naturang pondo para ipangbayad sa pensyon ng mga retirees ng Armed Forces of the Philippines.
Nabatid na ang SARO ay katumbas ng Notice of Cash Allowance para sa pensyon mula Enero hanggang Marso 2023.
“It is our responsibility to make sure that our retirees, as well as their families, always get the benefits entitled to them. Malaking tulong ‘yan sa kanila. Matagal na panahon silang nagsilbi para tulungan at protektahan ang ating bayan. This is the least we can do to show them our sincerest gratitude and respect,” pahayag ni Pangandaman.
Base sa taalaan ng AFP, nasa 137,649 pensyodo sa AFP.
