China sinabing nakatulong ang 2005 joint exploration deal sa WPS
Naninindigann ang China na may naibunga na maganda ang 2005 joint oil exploration kasama ang Pilipinas at Vietnam.
Sinabi ito ni Chinese Foreign MInistry spokesman Wang Wenbin bilang reaksyon sa pagdeklara ng Korte Suprema na labag sa Saligang Batas ang kasunduan.
Diin ni Wang mahalaga ang naidulot ng kasunduan dahil sa nagkaroon ng kooperasyon ang tatlong bansa.
“It was an important step by the three countries to implement the DOC (Declaration on the Conduct of Parties in the South China Sea) and a useful experiment for maritime cooperation between parties to the South China Sea,” aniya.
Ipinawalang bisa ng Korte Surprema ang kasunduan bagamat nagtapos na ito noon pang 2008.
