Lifestyle check ikakasa sa ‘resigned’ PNP officials

Sasailalim sa ‘lifestyle check’  ang mga opisyal ng pambansang pulisya na nagsumite ng ‘courtesy resignation.’

Ito ang sinabi ni PNP Chief Rodolfo Azurin Jr., at aniya gagawin ito bilang bahagi ng gagawing pag-iimbestiga ng five-man committee.

“As of now we need to ask the members of the committee about the other procedures to be undertaken, but definitely that would be part of the investigation or inquiry that will be conducted by the committee to assess and evaluate all third-level officers,” ani Azurin.

Ang lifestyle check ay gagawin alinsunod sa RA  3019 o ang Anti-Graft and Corruption Practices at  at RA  6713 o ang Act Establishing a Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees,’

Samantala, sinabi ni PNO spokesperson, Col. Jean Fernando, 70 porsiyento na ng higit 900 generals at colonels ang nagsumite ng kanilang courtesy resignation.

Kumpiyansa siya na dadami pa ito sa pagdating ng mga magmumula sa kanilang regional offices.

Hindi pa lang aniya tiyak kung kabilang sa mga tumalima na sa apila ni Interior Sec. Benhur Abalos ang 10 opisyal na sinasabing sangkot sa ilegal na droga.
