Kabuuang 43,823 police officers sa 17 rehiyon sa bansa ang ginawaran ng promosyon.
Sa pangunguna ni PNP chief Gen. Rodolfo Azurin Jr., sa Camp Crame , isinagawa ang sabay-sabay na oathtaking, donning and pinning of ranks sa second-level personnel.
Ang promosyon ay mula sa ranggong Patrolman hanggang Lieutenant Colonel sa Camp Crame at iba pang kampo ng pulisya sa bansa.
“I think this promotion would really mean a lot for our personnel. So this is what we are asking for from them, the cooperation that is at their level, they should start cleansing their ranks, they should start cleansing themselves specifically regarding their involvement in illegal drug activities,” ani Azurin.
Sa mga nabigyan ng promosyon, 406 ang naging Major; 3,568 ang Captain; 273 sa ieutenant; 1,707 sa Executive Master Sergeant; 3, 507 sa Chief Master Sergeant; 3,033 sa Senior Master Sergeant; 5,046 sa Master Sergeant; 11,711 sa Staff Sergeant at 14,562 sa Corporal.
Sa Camp Bagong Diwa, pinagunahan naman ni NCRPO director, Maj.Gen. Jonnel Estomo ang seremonya at kasama sa limang police districts, 4,661 pulis ang nabigyan ng promosyon.
