Bigtime power rate hike ngayon Enero inanunsiyo ng Meralco

Mataas na dagdag singil ss kuryente ang sasalubong sa Meralco consumers ngayon bagong taon.
Inanunsiyo ng power distributor na tataas ng P0.62 per kilowatt hour ngayon Enero.
Dahilan ng Meralco tumaas ng P0.33 per kilowatt hour ang kanilang generation charge at dahil na rin natapos ang refund sa kanilang mga kustomer.
Mahal din ayon sa Meralco ang binili nilang kuryente sa ‘spot market’ dahil sa pagkalas sa kontrata ng San Miguel Corp.
Ang mga may average monthly consumption na 200 kilowatt hour ay magdadagdag ng P124 na bayad sa kuryente, samantalang P310 naman sa may konsumo na 500 per kilowatt hour kada buwan.
