Pag-absuwelto ng anak ni Sec. Remulla sa drug case hindi ikinagulat ni Pimentel
Hindi na nasorpresa si Senate Minority Leader Aquilino ‘Koko’ Pimentel III sa pagkaka-absuwelto ni Juanito Jose Remulla III, anak ni Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla, sa kinaharap na kaso na may kimalaman sa droga.
‘’From the basic facts of the case as I have gathered from the news reports, I am not surprised that the accused has been acquitted,’’ ani Pimentel, na isang bar topnotcher.
Sinabi nito na inaresto si Remulla nang tanggapin nito ang isang ‘closed package,’ na sinabing naglalaman ng kush o high-grade marijuana.
