Gen. Andres Centino ibinalik na AFP chief of staff
Inanunsiyo ng Malakanyang na si General Andres Centino muli ang bagong mamumuno sa Hukbong Sandatahang ng Pilipinas.
Kay Pangulong Marcos Jr., pa nanumpa si Centino, na nagsilbi na sa naturang posisyon noong Nobyembre 12, 2021 hanggang Agosto 8, ng nakaraang taon.
Pinalitan ni Centino si Gen. Bartolome Bacarro, ang pumalit sa kanya sa posisyon noong Agosto.
“Under his leadership, the armed forces successfully launched military campaigns to combat insurgents and local terrorist groups resulting in the dismantling of guerilla fronts and the clearing of affected communities,” ang pahayag ng Presidential Communications Office (PCO).
Nakatakdang magretiro sa serbisyo si Centino sa Pebrero 4, pagsapit niya sa edad na 56.
Ngunit dahil sa RA 11709 maaring madugtungan ng tatlong taon ang kanyang termino.
