Comelec magtutungo sa Kalayaan Island para sa voter registration
Bibisitahin ng Commission on Elections ang Kalayaan Island at iba pang malalayong lugar sa baansa para hikayatin ang publiko na magparehistro sa susunod na eleksyon.
Ayon kay Comelec Chairman George Garcia, magtutungo rin ang kanilang hanay sa Batanes at Tawi-tawi Islands.
Layunin aniya ng kanilang hanay na maitaas ang kaalaman ng publiko na magpa-rehistro at samantalahin ang programang “Register Anywhere Program.”
Sa ilalim ng naturang programa, maaring magpa-rehistro ang isang botante sa kahit na saang lugar sa bansa mula noong Disyebre 17, 2022 hanggang Enero 25, 2023.
Matatapos ang voter registration ng Enero 31, 2023.
