MMDA nagpadala ng saklolo sa Misamis dahil sa grabeng pagbaha

Nagpadala ng tulong ang Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) sa Misamis Oriental at Misamis Occidental na kapwa lubhang naapektuhan ng mapaminsalang pagbaha.

Sinabi ni MMDA General Manager Procopio Lipana na ang ipinadala nilang 16-man contingent ay  binuo ng mga tauhan ng  Public Safety Division and Road Emergency Group. Aniya ang mga ito ay  inatasan na magsagawa ng humanitarian and relief operations sa mga apektadong pamilya sa dalawang lalawigan. “Their main task is to set up water filtration systems in communities with limited or no supply of clean and potable water,” ani Lipana. Bitbit ng grupo ang   20 units ng water purifier systems, na may kapasidad na maglabas ng 180 galon ng malinis na tubig kada oras.
