Bago naitalaga sa bagong puwesto, nagsilbi si Nepomuceno bilang deputy commissioner ng Bureau of Customs.
Samantala, itinalaga rin ng Pangulo si Angelito Magno bilang assistant director ng National Bureau of Investigation.
Itinalaga rin ng Pangulo si Glenn Ricarte bilang assistant director ng NBI.
