Quezon Province solon pinuri ang pagpasa ng panukalang Maharlika Investment Fund sa Kamara

Binati ni Quezon Representative David ‘Jay-jay’ Suarez si House Speaker Martin Romualdez sa pagpupirsige na makalusot sa Mababang Kapulungan ang isinusulong na Maharlika Investment Fund (MIF).
Tiwala si Suarez sa pamumuno ni Romuldez at aniya ang sovereign fund ang isa sa makakakapagpabilis sa ‘economic train’ ng administrasyong-Marcos Jr. Pagbabahagi ng mambabatas dumaan sa masusing pagbusisi at diskusyon sa plenaryo ang naturang panukala sa pagsasabing, “the proposal is fortified with safeguards and safety nets to ensure that fund managers will not be able to dip their hands into the fund’s investments.” “The approval of the bill went through congressional surgery. Mahalahaga lamang aniya na maging malinaw sa sambayanan na malaki ang maitutulong ng MIF sa pangkalahatan at hindi ito para lamang sa kapritso ng administrasyon at mga kaalyado. “Our people need more information about the MIF so that they can see that the benefits outweigh the unwarranted fear. This is why I am appealing to all Filipinos to support measure. There are 79 sovereign investment funds from other countries, of which 78 were successful.
