Misdeclared agricultural products nasabat ng BOC sa Zambales
Nasabat ng mga tauhan ng Bureau of Customs ang 44 containers na naglalaman ng mga misdeclaraed na agricultural product mula sa China sa Port of Subic, Zambales.
Ayon kay BOC Commissioner Yogi Felimon Ruiz, nag-isyu ang kanilang hanay ng 17 na Alert Orders at Pre-lodgment Orders laban sa kargamento na pag-aari ng Asterzenmed Incorporated at Victory JM Enterprice OPC.
Sa 44 na containers, 24 ang naka-consign sa Asterzenmed Inc., habang ang 20 ay naka-consign sa Victory JM.
Laman ng container ang mga frozen shabu-shabu balls, whole mackerel, boneless buffalo meat at boneless beef (anglo).
Ang ibang container ay naglalaman naman ng tinapay (pastries) at mga pulang sibuyas.
Sasampahan ang mga consignees ng paglabag sa Department of Agriculture Administrative Order No. 18 series of 2000 at Department of Agriculture Department Circular No. 4 series of 2016 in relation to Section 1113(f) of the Republic Act No. 10863 (CMTA).
