Ilang probisyon sa 2023 national budget, na-veto ni Pangulong Marcos
Hindi inaprubahan ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ang ilang probisyon sa 2023 National Budget o Fiscal Year 2023 General Appropriations Act (FY 2023 GAA).
Kabilang sa mga na-veto ng pangulo ang Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE)-National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC), Special Provision No. 1, “Use of Income.”
Paliwanag ng Pangulo, kaya hindi niya inaprubahan ang naturang probisyon dahil bahagi na ito ng revenue at financing sources ng Fiscal Year 2023 National Expenditure Program naisinumite sa Kongreso.
Sinabi pa ng Pangulo na hindi awtorisado ang National Labor Relations Commission na gamitin ang income nito batay sa umiiral na batas.
Hindi rin inaprubahan ng Pangulo ang Department of Education (DepEd)-Office of the Secretary (OSEC), Special Provision No. 4, “Revolving Fund of DepEd TV.”
Hindi rin kasi awtorisado ang DepEd na magkaroon ng revolving fund para sa nasabing programa.
Hindi rin inaprubahan ng Pangulo ang Special Provision Number 4 na “Branding Campaign Program” ng Department of Tourism na nagtatakdang limitahan ang functions ng executive branch para ipatupad ang Republic Act Number 9593 o ang Tourism Act of 2009.
