Mga motorista gagamit ng expressways pinayuhan na magpa-load ng RFID para iwas ‘Christmas rush’

Tiniyak ng Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC) na handa na ang kanilang mga sistema para sa inaasahang ‘Christmas rush.’ Inaasahan na 10 porsiyento hanggang 15 porsiyento ang itataas ng ‘traffic volume’ sa expressways ngayon papalapit na ang Araw ng Pasko. Sa pahayag, sinabi ng Metro Pacific Tollways (MPT) South na inaasahan nila ang pagtaas ng bilang ng mga sasakyan na gagamit ng Cavitex at CALAX at ganito rin ang pagtatantiya ng NLEX Corp. Ayon sa dalawang tollway operators paiigtingin nila ang kanilang motorist assistance program para sa maayos na daloy ng mga sasakyan sa NLEX, Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX), Manila-Cavite Expressway (Cavitex) at Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX). Magtatalaga din ng patrol crews, traffic marshals, security teams at toll lane personnel sa mga nabanggit na expressways, gayundin ng emergency medical services personnel. Pansamantala din itinigil muna ang mga paggawa sa mga nabanggit na expressways.
