Naghain ng diplomatic protest ang Pilipinas laban sa China.
Ito ay matapos ang insidente ng pang-aagaw ng Chinese Coast Guard sa nakuhang rocket debris ng Philippine Navy sa Pag-asa Island sa West Philippine Sea.
Ayon kay Foreign Affairs spokesperson Teresita Daza, may petsa ang diplomatic protest noong Disyembre 12 matapos ang note verbale na inihain ng Pilipinas sa China noong Nobyembre 24.
Ayon pa sa pahayag ng DFA, naghain ng diplomatic action ang Pilipinas para i-protesta ang illegal actions na ginawa ng Chinese Coast Guard noong Nobyembre 20, 2022.
Bibisita si Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. sa China sa Enero 3 hanggang 6 sa susunod na taon.
