PNP SAF, Regional Mobile Forces inilagay sa ‘high alert’ dahil sa CPP anniversary
Nasa heightened alert status ang PNP – Special Action Force (SAF), gayundin ang 17 Regional Mobile Forces kaugnay sa paggunita ng 54th anniversary ng Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP).
“All SAF and 17 RMFBs nationwide will be put to highest alert for any possible tactical engagements and harassments against government forces as the CPP marks its 54th anniversary on Dec. 26, 2022,” ani PNP Chief Rodolfo Azurin Jr.
Kasabay nito ang kanyang paghamon sa pambansang pulisya na ipagpatuloy ang mga tagumpay laban sa kriminalidad.
Bilin niya hindi dapat magpabaya ang mga pulis at bigyan pagkakataon ang mga kriminal na sirain ang pagdiriwang ng Kapaskuhan sa bansa.
“The successful outcome of the major events that unfolded during the year is the result of sheer hard work, careful planning and preparation by PNP units,” dagdag pa nito.
Samantala, sinabi ni Azurin na walang magaganap na ‘muzzling’ sa mga armas ng mga pulis ngayon Kapaskuhan dahil nagtitiwala siya na hindi gagamitin ito sa ‘indiscriminate firing’ lalo na sa pagsalubong sa bagong taon.
