Gov’t workers bawal tumanggap at humingi ng Christmas gifts

Bawal tumanggap at humingi ng regalo mula sa mga kliyente ngayon Kapaskuhan.

Ito ang paalala ni Civil Service Commission (CSC) Chairman Karlo Nograles sa mga kawani ng gobyerno.

Ayon kay Nograles ito ay alinsunod sa  Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees.

Paalala pa nito may mga probisyon din sa  Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act na nagbabawal sa mga manggagawa sa gobyerno na tumanggap ng regalo kaugnay sa mga transaksyon o trabaho.

“If there is a client or applicant, supplier or contractor, or any other individual, group, or company that you transacted business or regularly transact business with, who is extending a gift or token to you, just politely decline and explain that you are only doing your job. Sa madaling salita, trabaho lang po,” ani Nograles.

Dagdag pa ng opisyal, ang mga ahensiya ay maaring magpatupad din ng ‘No Gift’ policy sa kanilang mga opisyal at kawani.
